Status FAQ
Answers to common questions about Rujira, THORChain, supported chains, and active halts.
This page reads live THORChain network controls, chain status, Rujira contract controls, and current block data. It uses those signals to show which chains, products, and actions are available right now.
A halt is a temporary pause on one or more actions. It may affect a full chain, a Rujira product, or only a specific market or contract. Check the affected card or Active halts table to see exactly what is unavailable and what still works.
Not necessarily. A halt is a control that temporarily pauses specific actions and can be used to keep the system operating safely while an issue is investigated or resolved. Your assets remain on-chain and under your ownership, although some actions may be temporarily unavailable.
Rujira and THORChain are made up of separate layers, chains, and contracts. A halt can therefore affect one part of the system while other actions remain available. Learn how the different parts work together on the Architecture page.
Partially affected means some actions, markets, or assets are unavailable while others continue to work. Check the affected row in the status table for the exact impact.
No. Online means Rujira can currently connect to that chain normally. A separate THORChain or Rujira halt may still limit a specific product or action involving that chain.
It depends on the active halt. Some safety-critical actions may remain available even when other Money Market features are paused. Check the current status card and Active halts table before taking action. When available, the page will show alternatives such as adding collateral or repaying debt by native transfer.
Live changes are picked up as they happen, and the full status is refreshed every five minutes.
A Mimir is an on-chain THORChain setting used to control network behavior. Some Mimirs can pause specific chains or actions, which is why they appear in the detailed status tables.
Security is a core part of how Rujira is designed and operated. The Security page explains the safeguards, controls, and response processes used to protect the system and the assets it supports.
