Many additional products are planned and can be found on the roadmap.
Quick definitions
DeFi (Decentralized Finance): financial applications built on blockchain networks that allow users to trade, lend, borrow, and earn yield without banks or intermediaries.
DEX (Decentralized Exchange): a trading platform where users trade crypto directly from their wallets instead of through a centralized company.
No. You do not need the RUJI token to use Rujira's applications.
Gas fees on Rujira are normally paid in RUNE1, which is the native asset of the THORChain network. However, gas fees for certain smart contract interactions are currently set to zero as part of an experiment. Since not all wallets support zero gas transactions, so you must enable zero gas fees yourself in supported wallets, like Keplr, before confirming a transaction.
If necessary, RUNE gas fees on Rujira may be re enabled in the future to prevent spam transactions.
There is also a fixed 0.02 RUNE fee for interactions that require the THORChain Base Layer, such as withdrawals to Rujira, token transfers, and cross chain swaps. Therefore, we advice to keep a little more than 0.02 RUNE in your wallet for certain interactions.
Quick definitions
RUNE: the native cryptocurrency of the THORChain network, used for liquidity pools, routing swaps, and paying certain network fees.
Rujira works with many popular crypto wallets that support THORChain-connected blockchains.
To use the full Rujira ecosystem, you must connect at least one THORChain-enabled wallet1.

- Keplr (Desktop and Mobile): Supports THORChain, Bitcoin, Ethereum, BNB, Base, Avalanche, Cosmos Hub
- Vultisig: Supports THORChain, Bitcoin, Ethereum, BNB, Base, Avalanche, Cosmos Hub, Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash, Dogecoin, XRP Ledger, TRON

If you experience connection issues, it may help to disable other wallet extensions, as some browser wallets can interfere with each other.
Quick definitions
THORChain-enabled wallet: a crypto wallet that supports assets and transactions on the THORChain network.
Rujira currently supports native assets from the following blockchains:
Bitcoin
Ethereum
XRP
BNB
TRON
Base
Avalanche
Cosmos Hub
Bitcoin Cash
Litecoin
Dogecoin
New blockchains are added regularly through THORChain integrations.
Rujira is also working with the Maya Protocol team to enable connections to additional networks such as Cardano, Dash, and Zcash.
At the moment, Rujira supports tokens that are paired with RUNE in THORChain liquidity pools1.
In the future, the platform plans to support additional tokens from connected blockchains through a whitelist system.

Quick definitions
Liquidity pool: a pool of crypto assets locked in a protocol that allows users to swap tokens and provide liquidity for trading.
Tokens on Ethereum and compatible networks such as Base and Avalanche require your permission before a Rujira product can use them. This is a safety measure built into these tokens: your wallet keeps control of your funds until you approve a specific product to access the token for an action such as depositing, swapping, trading, or providing liquidity.
Approval is a separate wallet transaction. It does not deposit, swap, or spend your tokens by itself; it only gives the selected product permission to use them when you confirm the next action. You may need to pay a network fee for the approval, and you may be asked to approve again when using a different token or product.
This approval step applies to ERC-20 tokens and similar tokens on compatible networks. It does not apply to native ETH, because ETH can be used directly without token approval.
Before confirming, always check that you are approving the intended Rujira product and review the permission shown in your wallet.
Yes. You can access Rujira using mobile wallets such as Keplr Mobile through its built in browser.
No. Rujira is fully decentralized and non custodial1, which means you can use the platform without completing identity verification.
You maintain full control of your assets through your own wallet.
Quick definitions
Non custodial: a system where users keep control of their private keys and funds rather than entrusting them to a centralized platform.
